Wayne L. Brown Auditorium
In order to adequately engage the complete student—spirit, mind, body, and heart—we have committed to building a new auditorium which will house a full basketball/volleyball court and a proscenium stage. Currently, we are able to use other facilities to meet the needs of our sports and drama programs, but as both of these programs continue to grow, we will need our own building for these activities.
Wayne L. Brown was a founder of CCS and a driving force behind the gymnasium/theater project. After a lifetime of dedicated service to his Lord, he was called home in January of 2010. The new gymnasium/theater will be called the Wayne L. Brown Auditorium in his honor.
We are well into the fund-raising phase of the project. As with all CCS building projects, we will build as the Lord provides, without incurring debt. The building phase is in progress with the hope of completion by spring graduation, depending on funds and available volunteer skill and labor. If you would like to contribute to this project, whether it be financially, with expertise, or with labor, please contact the school office at 207-832-4229.
A central focus for volunteer support is being created through the Get-It-Done Club as well as the Get-It-Done Club Calendar and Construction Calendar. Follow these areas for updates, and register yourself in the Get-It-Done Club email information exchange if you would like to find where your services can be used.
