The last few weeks have been busy with building the shell from leveling the ground to completing the roof.
Soil preparation for pouring concrete was accomplished with a laser leveler. Styrofoam, wire mesh, and rebar were combined to provide protection and tension against weather and service loads.
Concrete was poured on Friday, September 25th, and steel was delivered on Saturday, October 10th. Steel construction began the week of October 26th. Through subsequent weeks the framework, exterior walls, roof, and insulation have been installed. The roof was enclosed by January 30, 2016. Much of the interior work will be completed by volunteers under the supervision of qualified technical leads.
